RIESLING KIRCHBERG 2004 - In the "Guide Hachette" Settled in an ancient 15th century mansion, this property disposes 20 ha of vineyards, with multiple parcels of the best grounds of the community Kirchberg, which dominates Ribeauville. With exposure towards the south and south west, this Grand Cru gives Rieslings with high expression. The 2004 gives a pale yellow colour - with lightly green hints - Exuberant scents and complex hints of yellow flowers, completed with mango and passion fruit. The taste is tempting with flowers from the fields and very ripe fruit. The good texture around a pleasant acidity, with expression of minerals. The wine will develop further around two or three years. |

In the mouth there is an exceptional harmony between the structure and the acidity. The use of first class materials and the raising on the sediment, preserves the freshness in this wine. The lovely bitters and notes of over ripeness as well the hints of honey and figs are the keywords of this wine. It has a good potential and is a very beautiful Riesling of an extraordinary quality.
